TOOTH FRIENDLY CHOCOLATES!

It seems funny to ask the dentist if chocolates are good for you. We
have been brought up telling ourselves to have chocolates in
moderation because otherwise they will lead to cavities due to sugar
content in them.

But now, Arises an interesting counterpart to chocolates- A DARK
CHOCOLATE!
You must have heard certain benefits of the same on the body as it has a
unique antioxidant property. But now even in the field of dentistry, its
significance has to be acknowledged.
BUT HOW?
Studies have shown that the main component of dark chocolate- the
cocoa beans helps in fighting against bacteria attacking the tooth to eat
the sugar on it. Some studies have also shown that the defensive
nature of dark chocolate is comparable to that of fluoride.
However, we need to have some more research to test the theory.
So, Ideally Dark chocolate is good chocolate!
But we should always have the following things in mind:

Have them in moderation. It is just a healthy option to satisfy your
sweet tooth.
Follow a Balanced diet of fruits, veggies & dairy products.
Brush or at least rinse after consumption.
Don’t forget to visit your dentist every 6 month to get your sweet teeth examined!
