You must have always heard that we need to see a dentist every six months.
Today we’ll explain; Why!
1. TO CATCH ANY CAVITY YOUNG

Your dentist can have a look at all your teeth and tell you if you have developed any new cavities. These new cavities are supposed to be filled there and then so that they don’t progress further and if neglected might get converted into a big cavity and then into a root canal, if still ignored: might need an extraction meanwhile delaying also increases expense of treatment.
2. SCREENING FOR GUM DISEASE

Regular checkups tell you how good is your oral hygiene and if you require a cleaning of teeth. Regular cleaning ensures you have firm teeth, healthy gums and sound bone as tartar build up can destroy it all and make your teeth mobile and tall out.
3. ORAL CANCER SCREENING
Mortality for any type of cancer is high because by the time it is diagnosed, it has already spread a lot and thus difficult to treat
Although, if everyone is screened for cancer every 6 months; chances of late detection swoop down.
4. SCREENING OF BONE WITH XRAYS

What we see is always the tip of the iceberg; To see what is happening inside the body we need to take a couple of x Rays to find out about any underlying problem.
So See a Dentist Every 6 months!
